In the first half of the game between Albany I and Rawhiti some brilliant play was noticeable at times, the Rawhiti team playing quite good basketball, considering their late entry into the First Grade Competition. In the second half Albany dominated the play in all departments, their opponents not showing any of the combination or ability shown in the first part of the game. The score, 38 —8 in Albany’s favour, was a fair indication of the teams’ merits. Only first grade games were played, and those under cover.
