JEWELLERS* SHOP ROBBED (Peb United Peess Association.) GISBORNE, June 9. The premises of W. Good and Co., jewellers, were entered overnight, and jewellery valued at from £2OO to £3OO was stolen. The shop is of one storey. Entry was effected by removing the frame of the skylight and sliding back the glass skylight, which is a considerable height above the floor, but the burglar apparently lowered himself •on to the office desk. The articles taken comprised small trinkets. All the more valuable jewellery was kept in the safe, which was not disturbed. This week the Cash Stores, the Railway Statioq Garage, and the-butter factory’s office were entered, but, except in the case of the Cash - Stores, nothing of any value was taken..
