SOUTHLAND POWER BOARD
CONVERSION ,0F INTERNAL LOAN (Special to Bails Times.) INVERCARGILL, May 22. A special meeting of the Southland Electric Power Board was held to-day to deal with the final resolution regarding the conversion of the board’s internal loan at 4J per cent. Formal preliminary resolutions dealing with the board’s rates for the current financial year were passed. Mr F. T. M. Kissell, chief electrical engineer of the Public Works Department, was present at the meeting to discuss matters relating to the board's future power supplies. A further meeting is to be held at an early date to consider this question again.
