MOTOR CAR OVERTURNS. HONORARY MINISTER INJURED. PERTH, May 21. The Honorary Minister (Mr W. IT. Kitson), while travelling to Marrogin to open the district hospital, met with en accident, his car overturning, and instead of opening the hospital he was admitted as a patient. His condition is not serious. THE COUNTRY'S RECOVERY. PRIME MINISTER'S STATEMENT. CANBERRA, May 21. The Prime Minister (Mr J. A. Lyons), in a statement emphasising the remarkable recovery made by Australia since his Government took office in December, 1931, said the Commonwealth would probably have to rely on wool and metals for a time for buoyancy in returns from overseas trade, but there were signs on every hand of advances in secondary production and of more active movemmt of investment funds. QUEENSLAND CONCESSIONS. BRITISH COMPANY TO OPERATE. BRISBANE, May 21. As the result of negotiations in Loudon with the Premier of Queensland (Mr Forgan Smith) a British company is being forced to operate on the concession areas in Norfb Queensland, held by the Commonwealth Miucs Preliminary Syndicate, Ltd. The chairman of the new company will be Sir Hugh O'Nnill, the first Speaker of the House of Commons of Northern Ireland. The capital will be about £600,000. The concession covers 70,000 acres, which have been prospected for gold and other metals.
