THE BRITISH FASCISTS PLANK IN THiJ PLATFORM. . LONDON, May 10. The political correspondent of the News-Chronicle states that after many evasions and denials Sir Oswald Mosley's Fascists frankly acknowledge that they are anti-Jewish. ' Their official organ, the Fascist, this week . contains a spirited attack on Jewry, confirming Sir Oswald Mosley's recent hints that the anti-Semitism was an important plank,of his platform. It it understood that anonymous and influential personalities insisted on the gradual adoption of an anti-Jewish policy. The fascist states: "A great majority of Jews have shown themselves international in their outlook and have placed the interests of their own race before the interests, of the country in which they reside. British Fascists seek a National Renaissance and cannot have members whose national outlook is not Britain first. Jews must have no share in a one-party Fascist State, at. which Sir Oswald Mosley aims." The declaration i...prefaced by a statement "that there will not be racial or religious persecution in Britain, but Jews will be required to put the interests of Britain before the interests of Jewry." This is a thinly-veiled attack on Jewish religion which every self-respect-ing Jew will the ' NewsChronicle adds. , .The- reason- given for the exclusion from membership: is that they and the Jewish press are bitterly opposed to Fascism.. Sir Oswald's decision to attack the Jews is deliberate, and has forced the growth of opinion as shown in statements- of the past two years. : William Joyce, an official Mosley speaker, declared early,in 1934: ."I did not regard the Jews,as a class, but as a privileged flower or weed of Israel, which shall never grow on ground fertilised by British "blood."
