Held captive for many hours, with an elbow stuck in the top drawer of a chest of drawers, Helen Maria Theakston, aged 80, a single woman, by occupation a music teacher, of Worcester street, met her death in a strange manner. It is believed that she fainted while opening the drawer before retiring on Tuesday evening, and that the pressure of her body closed the drawer on her arm, so that she could not release herselt. She was unconscious when found yesterday afternoon, and was taken to the hospital, when she died at 7 this morning. She lived alone. . .
