MR SINGLETON'S EVIDENCE SITTINGS IN'OTHER CENTRES. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, May 10. Evidence by the director of the Dairy Division of the Department of Agriculture, Mr W. M. Singleton, occupied the attention of the. Dairy Industry Commission at its sittings to-day. Mr Singleton's evidence was largely concerned with the department's instructional activities and matters 'relating to the grading and quality of dairy products. He was questioned at length by the members of the commission, and his examination took the whole of the day. It had been intended to call also the assistant director-general of the Department of Agriculture, Mr A. H. Cockayne, but his evidence will now be taken tomorrow. ; '■ The chairman of the commission, Mr Justice Frazer, stated to-night that the commission had decided that all persons wishing to tender evidence or statements should do so as soon as possible before May .21. The question of holding sittings in other centres had been considered and it had been tentatively decided that the commission would hear evidence at Stratford, Hamilton, and Auckland.
