THE FINAL GALLOPS. (Pee United Press Association.) INVERCARGILL, May 10. The final gallops for the Invercargill meeting were marred by heavy mist, which obscured the horses till they reached the straight. Plenty of work was done on-the outside course proper, and the presence of several visiting horses gave interest to the proceedings, including Great AVeather. Jacobin, Lady Kate, Umtali, Palmary, Tippling, and Waterpower ■ (who looks particularly well), Brown, Pearl, and Master Anomaly.
