BRITAIN AND POLAND REPORTS FROM DELEGATES. (British Oaiclal Wireless.) RUGBY, May S. (Received May 9, at 5.5 p.m.) Colonel D. J. Colville (Uuder-Sccre-tary for Overseas Trade) states that the reports of the various delegates in the trade mission to Poland are being considered in connection with the preparations for negotiations for an AngloPolish trade agreement. It was recently announced that the Westinghouse Brake and Saxby Signal Company had concluded a contract with the Polish Government for £4,900,000 in connection with the fittings for brakes on the Polish State railways. Other important contracts involving £2,000,000 have recently been secured in Poland by British firms. BRITAIN AND TURKEY, (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, May 8. (Received May 9, at 5.5 p.m.) Dr E. L. Burgin (Under-secretary for Trade) informed the House of Commons that the Government is proceeding as rapidly as possible with consideration of the trade situation between Turkey and Britain, although he was not in a position at present to make any statement.
