■♦ TRANSMISSION PLANT MELBOURNE'S ACQUISITION. LONDON, April 24. The Daily Express says: A duplicate of the beam radio picture transmission apparatus which Imperial and International Communications, Limited, has been using for the transmission of pictures across the Atlantic for several vears, is being sent to Australia for installation in Melbourne.
It js expected that wireless pictures of the test matches will be transmitted in the'summer.
