♦ THE SUGGESTED NAME KING GEORGE THE FIFTH, LONDON, May 7. (Received May 7, at 8.45 p.m.) The News-Chronicle says: “His Majesty’s permission will be sought to name the giant Cuuarder King George the Fifth. It was originally intended to be named Britannia. It is hoped to call the sister ship Queen Mary.”
