PRODUCTION BY CINEMA STARS TO SING SCORE. NEW YORK, May 6. Mr William De Mille announced that he is planning the kinema production of famous operas with motion picture stars playing the leading parts, while noted operatic stars will sing the score, but will not appear on the screen. It is said that Laurence Tibbet, Geraldine Farrar, and others have agreed that it is impossible simultaneously to concentrate on the necessary histrionics and operatic roles. They indicated, however, that they are willing to sing the parts for others.
