GOLD MINER'S FALL (Pee United Press Association.) WESTPORT, April 24. A veteran Mahakipawa gold miner, George Clements, about 70 years old, residing alone in a whare back in the hills from Mahakipawa, was found unconscious yesterday on the rocks of White Pine Creek. He had evidently fallen from a bank or from a bridge. He was taken to hospital, his condition being fairly serious. FALL FROM BICYCLE Charles Lorden, a single man. 22 years of age, residing at 1 Uxbridge street, Normanby, was admitted to the Hospital at 9 p.m. on Tuesday with a fracture of the left arm and abrasions about tbe face. The injuries were received when he fell from his bicycle at the Normanby tram terminus. STRUCK BY MOTOR CAR Whilst stepping off the pavement near the carshcds in Princes street south shortly after 6 o’clock last evening, George Tregca was knocked down by a motor car' travelling north, and was later admitted to Hospital suffering from shock and a gash on the forehead. Tbe injured man, who is 32 years of age, resides at 73 Tennyson street.
