SIR MONTAGUE BARLOW
ENGAGEMENT TO MISS REED OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT (Peb United Press Asfociation.) CHRISTCHURCH, March 14. Sir Montague Barlow, a former Minister of Labour in the British Cabinet, to-day announced his engagement to Miss Doris Louise Reed, of England, who is also visiting Christcnurch. Miss Reed, who was formerly deputy administrator of the Royal Air Force Nursing Division, is touring New Zealand in company with Miss Evelyn Barlow, Sir Montague's sister, and Sir Montague. No date has been fixed for the marriage, but it is expected that it will take place in Christchurch within the next few days. ,It is understood that the ceremony will bo performed by Bishop West-Watson, who is an old friend of Sir Montague Barlow's family.
