LIGHT FOR LHASA
ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT
CALCUTTA, March 12,
Lhasa is to be provided with electric light. The equipment was ordered in England, but the difficulty of transporting it over the mountains is a problem. Porters will have to carry all the parts over tbe 17,000 feet passes.
