LENGTHY TOUR ABROAD DEPARTURE FROM HONGKONG. SINGAPORE, March 12. The Sultan of Johore, with his white sultana, has sailed for Hongkong. He intends visiting Japan and America (including Hollywood), France, Germany, and England. He will be absent for a year. Johore, with an area of 7678 square miles and a population of half a million, occupies the southern extremity of the Malay Peninsula. It is a British possession. The sultan is H.H.
