BALCLUTHA, March 5, The Otago Gun Club held a successful shoot on the Lower Reserve on Saturday, when there was a good attendance, including several visitors from Dunedin. The wind was very tricky, but, notwithstanding. some very good shooting took place. In the shoot-off for second place in the Nine-bird Match Stiven, Barclay, and Easier carried on, going back a yard each shot. Barclay was eliminated on the fourth shot and Easier on the ninth, leaving Stiven with second place at 25 yards, a very creditable performance. In the Quail Drive Adamson took first place with three first barrels, Stiven and Dippie carrying on with 10 more shots for second place, which eventually fell ‘to Stiven. Results:— •
