A FATAL FALL (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, December 13. Following a fall from a second storey window on Sunday, W. W. Webber, aged 50, of Queen street, Wellington, died in the hospital last night. < Webber fell about 12 feet, and received severe Read injuries. MOTOR CAR HITS POST THE DRIVER INJURED. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH,. December 13. __ Mr C. Elms, manager of the Hermitage at Mount Cook, received cuts and abrasions about the head and arms when the car he was driving hit a post on the main road near Islington this afternoon. His condition is not serious but some of the cuts were very deep. Mr Elms Was driving back to the Hermitage after a visit to Christchurch. , ELDERLY MAN INJURED An elderly man, named Richard Gill, who is an inmate of the home conducted bv the Little Sisters of the Poor, was admitted to the Hospital at 2.20. p.m. yesterday suffering from head injuries received when he fell off the landing at the wharf and struck the pavement. KNOCKED DOWN BY MOTOR LORRY A small girl, named Marjory Munro, aged six years, who resides at 20 Gatherine street, Caversham, was knocked down by a motor lorry while she was crossing the Main South road yesterday. She received injuries to her head, arm, and leg, and was admitted to the Hospital at 10 a.m. Her condition is not serious.
