BIG FIRE IN JAPAN
OUTBREAK IN UNIVERSITY LABORATORY DESTROYED. a KOBE, December 13. (Received Dec. 13, at 11.30 p.m.) A fire occurred at noon in the engineering laboratory at Kyoto Imperial University and within an hour destroyed the whole' building. The garrison assisted in the fire-fighting in a desperate endeavour to prevent the fire from spreading. The damage is estimated at 700,000 yen.
