MIDNAPORE OUTRAGE
MURDER OF MAGISTRATE FEELING RUNNING HIGH. CALCUTTA, September 11. It is now revealed that so strong was the feeling at Midnnpore after the murder of Mr Burge that only_ with the utmost difficulty were the Indian troops, who had been stationed there since the terrorism became acute, restrained from wrecking the town. Mr Bernard Burge, district magistrate at Midnapore, was murdered by Indian terrorists.
