HAPPY CREDITORS
LEGACY LEFT TO BANKRUPT. (Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, September 12. Few creditors leave a bankruptcy meeting feeling happier than when they went, but the creditors who attended the second meeting to investigate the affairs of a Tauranga draper named W. E. Blackwell learned that they have a good chance of having their claims met in full. Since the first meeting in August, 1932, the bankrupt’s father has died, leaving his son about £3OOO. Formerly bis assets wore worth only a few pounds, and his debts totalled £7OO. James and John Piggott, England’s oldest twins, completed their 91st year in June. Ono lives near Leeds, and the other at Brampton, Huntingdonshire.
