NURSES' MEMORIAL FUND
QUARTERLY MEETING. The quarterly meeting of the New. Zea : land Nurses' Memorial Fund Committee was attended by Sir Lindo Ferguson (chairman), Miss Lancaster. Mr C. Russell Smith, Mr I. A M'kinnon hon. treasurer), and Mrs H. W. Bundle (hon. secretary). . , ... Two further applications for annuities were considered, and temporary grants were made. . . Much satisfaction was expressed at the increased interest shown by the staffs of different hospitals in organising entertainments to augment the fund, recent substantial donations from this source coming from Rolorua, Wellington, Auckland, Mastcrton, Napier, and Hawera Hospitals. Legacies of £SO from the estate of Mr \ T). Bell. Shit" Valley, and a sum of £5 from the M'Kinnon Trust (InvercarE ill) were gratefully acknowledged. _ The number of annuities is increasing, and it was pointed out that the commitments to date for the present year amounted to £I2OO. while the assured income was only £llOO.
