HOUSE RANSACKED
DESTRUCTION AND THEFT OWNER’S HEAVY LOSS. (Per United Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, September 6. Jewellery and clothing valued at £3OO were stolen from the home of Mr E. L. MJveou, St. Martins, last evening. The thieves engaged on a scheme of wholesale destruction, smashing vases, clocks, and upsetting the contents of various rooms.
