DUBLIN HOTELS RAIDED

SEVERAL YOUTHS CHARGED REFUSE TO DISCLOSE NAMES. LONDON, September 6. (Received Sept. 6, at 8 p.m.) Five young men who were charged with raiding Dublin public houses which were selling English ales maintained grim silence and refused to disclose their names. Seven who were similarly charged at Killarney declined to make a statement. A witness who refused to identify them was sentenced to one week’s imprisonment for contempt of court. Police guarded the courthouse, which a strong force of youths tried to rush, meeting a determined baton charge. They were repulsed, many being injured. — Times Cable.
