ARDENT NAZI CONVERT
SON OF BRITISH OFFICER APPOINTMENT IN LONDON. LONDON, September 6. (Received Sept. 6, at 11 p.m.) The Daily Herald says that Frederick Willis, an Englishman who has become a naturalised German and an ardent Nazi, is shortly coming to London as counsellor to the embassy. He will be Herr Hitler’s chief propagandist in Britain. Willis, who is a son of a British officer in the Indian Army, has worked during the past few years as a journalist in Rome. No official of the appointment has yet been received in London, but Willis announced at a farewell dinner that one of his tasks would be to act as liaison officer with the British Fascists.
