Arnold) gave an interesting address on “Education,” mentioning the vari-ous-aspects of the problems confronting teachers and .the difficulties of arranging the curriculum to suit all;requirements. Ncwtoij presiding over a full attendance of members. It was der cided' to paint and renovate generally the fence and, pavilion, and .the president and. Messrs Murray and O’Reilly were appointed a Grounds; Committee to carry out further improvements. The opening day was-fixed for' September 23, and'it was decided to hold a Christmas dance early in December.
