(Fbom Our Own Correspondent.) ' PALMERSTON, September «. MINISTERS’ ASSOCIATION. , The monthly meeting of, the Palmerston Ministers’ 1 Association washeld at the vicarage, the Rev., J. Thonias presiding. The rector of the. High School.' (Mr C. F. Arnold) gave an interesting address on “Education,” mentioning the vari-ous-aspects of the problems confronting teachers and .the difficulties of arranging the curriculum to suit all;requirements. ' ' .( , ' LAWN TENNIS .CLUB. ; . The first meeting of .the new committee of the Palmerston- Lawn Tennis Club' was held at the : vicarage ’ last night, the Rev. C. M. Ncwtoij presiding over a full attendance of members. It was der cided' to paint and renovate generally the fence and, pavilion, and .the president and. Messrs Murray and O’Reilly were appointed a Grounds; Committee to carry out further improvements. The opening day was-fixed for' September 23, and'it was decided to hold a Christmas dance early in December.
