SCHOOL TEACHER KILLED

MOTOR CAR CAPSIZES (Special to Daily Times.) WELLINGTON, August 0. Miss Eileen Ailsa M‘Donald, a school teacher, aged about 24 years, was lulled when a motor car which she was backing out of a garage in Konini road aoout 7 o’clock this evening ran over a bank. Miss M'Donald was stationed at Martinborough, and was visiting her home tor the week-end. She bad gone to the garage with the intention of taking the car out to get her brother. Konini road is fairly steep, and it would appear that when it was being backed out ot the garage the car gained momentum and ran down the bill before Miss M'Donald could regain control. The car went over a bank about eight feet high and turned on its left side, pinning her underneath. The door was found partly open, a tact which would suggest that the driver was trying to get out at the time it came to rest.
