FEWER STEAM VESSELS (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, August 2. During the year ending June 30, the gross tonnage of motor vessels on the register at ports of the United Kingdom increased by 0.1 per cent, to 2,090,021. The gross tonnage of steam vessels decreased by 5.6 per cent., totalling 10,207,875. The gross tonnage of sailing vessels decreased by 1.4 per cent, to 510.070.
