SHIPMENT TO NEW YORK PAYMENT OF BRITISH DEBT. VANCOUVER, August 2. Nine hundred bars of silver from India, valued at 5,000,000 dollars, arrived by the Empress of Canada on its way to New York as payment on the British war debt.
