PALMERSTON NOTES

(From Odr Own Correspondent.) PALMERSTON, August 3. RENOVATION OF SHOPS. Work has been commenced on the renovation of the shops on Tiverton street, owned by the estate of the late Mr E. H. Clark. It is understood that extensive alterations will not be undertaken, but even so, an improvement will be welcomed. Information is to hand that the premises immediately below, which are owned-by Mr W. Pittaway, will probably be pulled down in the near future and replaced by modern brick buildings. These alterations should add greatly to the appearance of the street and the town generally.
