CONTROLLABLE BALLOON
ASCENT BY BELGIANS
BRUSSELS, August 1,
M. Max Costyns, with M. de Bruyn, hopes to take off in a new balloon stratosphere ascent between August 5 and September 5. leaving a field on the banks of the River Lesse. The balloon is now controllable, and there is no danger of its being blown out to sea. The object is ultimately to produce a stratospheric aeroplane.
