THE WEATHER
Fine sunny weather was experience* in Dunedin yesterday, following a cold night and five degrees of frost. A light north-east wind was blowing, and the atmosphere was very cold in the shade, all day. The barometer fell several points and registered 29.80 last evening. CONDITIONS IN THE NORTH. i (Special to Daily Times.) AUCKLAND, August 2. There ivas a continuation of the moderate south-west wind and unsettled conditions to-day, occasional light showers being experienced. The barometer has risen to 3°.°sin. j WELLINGTONi August 2. A perfect spring day was enjoyed today, the sun shining from a cloudless sky. There was a light northerly breeze. CHRISTCHURCH, August 2. The weather to-day was calm and pleasant with a fair amount of sunshine. The maximum temperature was 48.8 and the minimum 31.6. The barometer, after falling slightly, registered 29.73 in the evening.
