VOCATIONAL GUIDANCE WORK The second annual report of the Dunedin Vocational Guidance Committee shows that the following boys and girls have been placed in employment during the past 12 months;— Bovs. —Orchards and farms, 87; trades, 79; shops and offices, 168; factories, 30; miscellaneous, 116; total, 480. Girls— Trades, 3; shops or offices, 20, factories, 22; miscellaneous. In; total, 60. Grand total. 540. The ages of those employed range as follows:— 14 years, 11.1 per cent.; la. 22.6 per cent.; 16, 19.6 per cent.; 17, 21.1 per cent.; 18, 14.2 per cent.; 19, 4.4 per cent.; 20 and over. 7 per cent.
