RANSOM PAID OVER
YOUNG AMERICAN RELEASED NEW YORK, July 30. (Received July 31, at 8.30 p.m.) John J. O'Connell, jun., the young scion of the politically powerful O'Connell family, was released by his kidnappers on Sunday upon the payment of 40,000 dollars ransom. He was kidnapped on July 7. He was not injured in any way.
