VALUABLE BOOK OF REFERENCE Now in its second year of publication, Lowe’s Lawn Tennis Annual constitute# one of the most comprehensive and convenient encyclopedias of the game that hag ever been issued. This year’s edition, which is just to hand from the publishers, Messrs Eyre and SpottWwoode, is not only fully up to the standard of ite predecessor, but introduces several new features which enhance the value of the Annual, and at the same time greatly enlarge its general interest. Among these may be mentioned a striking series of action photographs of player# who have won renown in the international arena, a symposium on points of interest to players, and special articles of an authoritative character by the editor (Sir Gordon Lowe) and by Messrs H.
