1 9 000 eggs MORE from same birds! Here is a most interesting letter. It gomes from a poultry breeder who —to use his own words —“never has been a believer in spices of any description.” And then, on a flock of 150 two-year-old hens which he was just going to kill, he thought he would try Karswood Poultry Spice ( containing ground insects). The result was that at the end of 7 weeks he had over a thousand eggs more than he ever expected. He writes:— “Until I bought a 28 lb. tin of Karawood I had never been a believer in spices of any description. At the time I bought Karswood 1 had about 150 two-year-old hens (2 never keep birds after 2 years) and was Just about to kill them off. 1 had been collecting only 20 to 30 eggs per day from these birds.
