TAIERI POULTRY SHOW

The forty-fifth annual show of the Taieri Poultry Society will be held at Mosgiel to-day. For this annual event there are 400 entries, spread over open class poultry, farmers’ classes, utility classes; bantams, ducks, fancy pigeons, flying homers, cage birds, children’s pets, cookery and produce, and eggs; honey and preserves. Mr R. C. Wilson, of Invercargill, will judge the poultry; Mr Andrew Fraser (Dunedin) the fancy pigeons; Mr W. G. Wall (Auckland), the cage birds; Mr S. C. Rhodes, the honey exhibits, and Miss C. M. Anderson (Dunedin) the cookery. Entries have been made from many outside districts as well as from the pens of local farmers, and a successful- show is looked forward to.
