MUSICAL SOCIETY,
The Alexandra Musical Society hold its annual meeting on Wednesday _ evening, when about 40 members ,und intending members were present, Mr R. E. M Lay * JI The"ejection of office-bearers resulted a« follows:—Patron. Dr A, B. Gladstone; president, Mr R. B. M'Lny; vice-presi-dents—Mesdnmes A. E. Gladstone and W. R Lloyd Williams, Mias Brown, and Mr W B "Willsteed; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. Russell; assistant secretary, Mr C Worsen; committee—Mrs H. A. White, Miss I. Wallace, and Messrs J. Gladstone and W. Black.
