MUNICIPAL ELECTIONS
THE DUBLIN CONTESTS' DE VALERA PARTY DEFEATED, LONDON, June 29. (Received June 29, at 7 p.m.) The de Valera Party was heavily defeated at the Dublin municipal elections. The Lord Mayor (Mr Byrne) topped the poll despite strong opposition from the de Valera Party, THE FINAL RETURNS. DUBLIN, June 29. (Received June 20, at 8 p.m.) The elections resulted as follows: — Constitutional Group .... 22 de Valera Party 13 Among those defeated were Mr James Larkin and his son, who stood as Communists.
