GOVERNMENT TAKES ACTION MANDATES VOIDED (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) VIENNA, June 23. The Lower House passed a Bill voiding Nazi mandates. The Bill entails the expulsion of eight Nazi members. The Nazi burgomaster of Kitzbuehl was sentenced to 10 weeks’ imprisonment and was fined £3O for pro-Nazi activities. CZECHOSLOVAKIAN NAZI EXPELLED FROM PARLIAMENT. PRAGUE, June 23. A Nazi named Knirsch was expelled from Parliament for disparaging Czechoslovakia’s attitude to the Germans in 1930. PATRIOTIC DEMONSTRATION NAZI LEADERS ARRESTED. VIENNA, June 26. (Received June 25, at 6.30 p.m. J Bonfires are blazing from 1500/hills and mountain tops throughout Austria. Those in the vicinity of Germany illuminate the words, “ Hail, Austria.” Guns firing salutes constitute a part of tonight’s great, patriotic demonstration intended to show the Nazis that Austria cannot be intimidated. “ If we are driven to it, he who takes life shall pay with life,” declared Dr Dolfuss, indicating the possible introduction of the death penalty, when addressing a crowd of 12,000. He added: “ We have restored faith in the Austrian Fatherland, and the people need not fear the future.” Several more Nazi leaders have been arrested, including seven deputies. The .Nazi leader, Erauenfeld, was arrested near the Italian border and brought back. THREAT TO DR DOLFUSS VIENNA, June 24. (Received June 25, at 8 p.m.) An aeroplane dropped leaflets over the line < prior to a speech by Dr Dolfuss, containing a declaration by Proksch, the Austrian Nazi leader, now hiding in Munich, threatening to deprive Dr Dolfuss of power.
