WOMAN VICIOUSLY ASSAULTED PEPPER THROWN IN FACE. (Per United Press Association.) WELLINGTON, June 23. Suffering from a contused wound of the scalp, shock, and eye injuries caused Dy 1 having pepper thrown in her face, Mrs M. E. Levy, of 114 Richmond street, Petone, was taken to the hospital from the Petone Police Station shortly after 1 o’clock this morning by the free ambulance. ' ...
