MONSTER IN LAKE
NATIVES TERRORISED REPORT BY INDIAN YOUTHS. VANCOUVER, June 22. Vernon (British Columbia) reports the reappearance in a lake of a monster, 50ft long and 2ft in diameter. It is creating terror in the Indian reserve. Aged tribesmen declare that their fathers told them of similar monsters of their time. The reappearance was reported by three Indian youths who were on a raft which a water disturbance threatened to capsize. The terrified trio leaped off, swimming to the shore.
