DEPRESSED AREAS
-GRANT FOR ASSISTANCE (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, June 22. (Received June 23, at 5.5 p.m.) The Minister of Health (Sir Hilton Young) announced in the House of Commons that a supplementary estimate of £500,000 would be introduced for the assistance of depressed areas in lieu of a suggested scheme whereby the more, opulent areas should, assist those which are less prosperous. '
