BRITAIN AND RUSSIA
RENEWAL OF TRADE RELATIONS EARLY MEETING EXPECTED. LONDON, June 23. (Received June 23, at 7.30 p.m.) Well-informed circles forecast an early meeting between the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs (Sir John Simon) and M. Litvinoff respecting the embargo and the imprisoned Vickers engineers. It is stated that the Soviet is anxious to secure a renewal of trade relations.
