THE DAVIS CUP PARIS, June 23. (Received June 24, at 0.45 a.m.) “ My boys are going to have a tough time. 1 am under no illusions,” said Mr Bunion Prentice, manager of the American Davis Cup team, on his ai rival at Cherbourg. In his opinion Tritain, Australia, America, and France i 11 have practically an equal chance of winning the cup. The American team against the winners of the match between Britain and Australia will probably be Vines and Allison in the Singles and Lott and Van Ryn in the Doubles. Mr Prentice added that U would he unwise to attach too much importance to Cochct’s defeat by Crawford. The French team was still formidable.
