MORNINGTON QUEEN CARNIVAL.
The Concert Chamber of the Town Hall will be the scene of a spectacular ceremony on Tuesday night, when the queen of the Mornington Queen Carnival will be crowned with all the pomp and circumstance that arc associated with such an event. The stagings will be colourful and elaborate, and close attention has been given to the details of dressing, etc., under the guidance of Mr Percy Smith, of Toe If. The sale of tickets so far has been phenomenal, and it is anticipated that this will be otie of the most strikingly successful ceremonies of its kind ever scon in Dunedin. In addition, a strong vocal and orchestral programme has been arranged.
