PRINCE OF ASTURIAS
MARRIED BY CIVIL CEREMONY ENTHUSIASTIC CROWDS. LAUSANNE, June 21. A simple civil ceremony, lasting a few minutes, at the Lausanne Town Hall, united the Prince of the Asturias and Seiiorita De San Pedro. Drizzling rain failed to prevent enthusiastic crowds watching the arrival of the prince. The guests included the bride’s family, but no Spanish royalty was present. The prince wore a blue suit and the bride a black dress and black fur hat. The Prince of the Asturias is the eldest son of ex-King Alfonso of Spain. In view of his marriage he renounced his rights to the Spanish throne.
