NATIONALIST OFFICES SEIZED RAIDS THROUGHOUT COUNTRY (United Press Association.) (By Electric Telegraph—Copyright.) BERLIN, June 21. The secret police, acting under direct instructions from Captain Goering, aid'd the Nazi Storm Troops in raids throughout Germany. They seized the offices of the National Front Party, of which Dr Mugenbcrg, a member of Herr Hitler's Cabinet, is leader. The party is a union of all the German national societies, and hitherto had been an ally of the Nazi Party. Dr Hugenberg is now back in Berlin after bis recall from the London Conference.

The police state that the raids on the National Front Party were conducted because many Communists became members in order to obtain weapons with the object of making the National Front Party a revolutionary tool against the Government. MANY LEADERS ARRESTED ACTION AGAINST COMMUNISTS. BERLIN, June 21. Over 100 leaders of the Nationalist (Green Shirt) League, including two nephews of Dr Hugenberg, and several hundreds of alleged Communists, wearing green shirts, were arrested in to-day’s raids. Herr Seldte (leader of the Stahlhelms), after conferring with Herr Hitler and Herr von Papen, announced that the Stahlhelms must join the Nazi Parly only in order to assure the fighting strength of the National Socialist revolution. The Nazi coup affects the Nationalist “ fighting front,” known as the Green Shirts, and the Steel Helmet League, consisting of ex-servicemen who are strongly monarchist. The Green Shirts gained considerable strength in recent weeks, and were making the Nazis nervous because they were dangerous rivals.

It is officially stated that out of 3000 members of the Green Shirts in Berlin 2000 wore former Marxists. It is understood that Dr Hugenbcrg resents the dissolution of his party’s forces, and is making a complaint to Herr Hitler and President Hindenburg'. It is rumoured that Dr Hugenbcrg will resign from the Cabinet unless he receives satisfaction. RESIGNATION EXPECTED. BERLIN, June 22. (Received June 22, at 8.80 p.m.) Dr Hugeuberg had an interview lasting two hours with Herr Hitler yesterday. The British United Press correspondent says that his resignation within a few days is regarded as certain. MOVE AGAINST CATHOLICS ORGANISATIONS DISSOLVED. MUNICH, June 21. Alleging that the Catholic Bavarian People’s Party was concerned in the banning of the Nazis in Austria, the political police raided the party’s offices throughout Bavaria and confiscated quantities of material. Many arrests were made. Both the Catholic and Protestant Youth Organisations at Staffelstein have been provisionally dissolved. The police searched the residences of many Catholic priests at Nuremberg and arrested one. Herr Wagner, the Bavarian Minister of the Interior, announced that Herr Hitler had authorised him to declare a revolution, and to continue this course until every other force was eliminated. A DETERMINED RESISTANCE SOCIALIST LEADER FIRES AT , TROOPS. BERLIN, June 22. (Received Juno 22, at 8.30 p.m.) Resisting an intended search of his house by the Nazis, the Socialist leader, Herr Schmaus, barricaded his premises and fired at the Storm Troopers as they approached. One trooper and one civilian were killed and two troopers were wounded. The regular police later stormed the house and arrested Herr Schmaus.
