The Jaffa correspondent of The Times says that Abraham Stavsky, a Polish journalist, was remanded for a fortnight on a charge of the murder of Dr Arlosoroff.

Dr Chaim Arlosoroff, leader of the Palestine Jews, was assassinated while, walking with his wife at Tel Aviv. The murderers were dressed in European clothes. One flashed a torch in the doctor’s eyes and fired three times, while the wife screamed for help. Dr Arlosoroff had just returned from Germany, where he was investigating the Nazi treatment of Jews.
