CHALLENGE CUPS
LORD BLEDISLOE’S OFFER
(Per United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, June 22,
It was stated by the Council of the Royal Agricultural Society to-day that the Governor-General (Lord Bledisloe) had offered a challenge cup for red poll cattle and another for export pigs at the Royal Show to lie held at Auckland next February.
On the suggestion of Professor R. Alexander, of Lincoln College, it was decided lo submit a request to Lord Bledisloe that the second be given for the best bacon pig rather than pork.
